I'm going to fill out some paperwork for my new position with an anonymous retail outlet, and then go to CrystalGemini's place for a meal and watch a DVD. If I get home in time, I'll hit the bar for an irish coffee or two and pay off my tab.

Final project for operating systems class. My group mate really fucked up implementing RPCs on the last project and he's having a hell of a time fixing them. I'm here mostly to make sure he keeps working. I've sort of redone the previous project that he fucked up, but its more fun watching him stress and try to fix it. I put in 50+ hours on my own on the last project so I have no sympathy for him. Plus I've done well enough on the exams that I'll pass the class no matter how poorly we do on this.

Its at a UPS site (the company is Securitas). Its supposed to be extremely laid back but I do have to deal with Inbound and Outbound trucks (tagging and removing tags). But its supposed to be crazily simple. I'm definitely going to use my free time to read read read

It seems that I just don't like spring semesters. The same thing happened last year, but I thought it was because I was depressed about my cousin dying.

I still haven't officially declared a major, but it will be accounting. Classes I'm taking now are accounting, microeconomics, business law, theology and history of some shit. The last two are core classes that I'm forced to take and I really don't give a fuck about either of them. Even worse is that I hate writing papers and they're the only two classes that I've gotten papers in.

I'm doing alright in my other classes, but I'd do better if I actually tried.

My cousin had been sick for a while and the crappy ass doctors at Jamaica couldn't find out what was wrong with her. They eventually found out that she had some rare type of cancer, but it had got much worse by then. Last February she came up to N.Y to get surgery done, but it was already too late by then. She died like 2-3 days after she got here. So yeah, she died from cancer when she was only 19.

Amazingly enough I left shortly after that. Kinda sucks if I'd been there a few minutes more I would've got a message from the girl I'm interested letting me know she was back at her apartment. Which is the building right next to the lab, sigh.

I'll be back at the lab again tomorrow, and Sunday. My groupmate spent an hour trying to figure out why he was getting 0s for an output. Turned out he had his length set to 0 for a container variable. Whoops!
