This movie was fucking steller. One of the funniest movies I've seen in awhile. And the end...holy shit. If you thought the end of Little Miss Sunshine was random and utterly hilarious, the last 35min of Hot Fuzz will make you orgasm.

So I saw the movie on Friday

I enjoyed it, but I thought it ran really long. I wanted to leave near the end, and then the last half hour or so started. If it wasn't for that, I'd probably regret spending $8 to see it.

I know, but, I won't invest in an HD-DVD player unless I know that format wins the war. It seems unlikely, but it could happen.

Meh, I dont care about format wars. I'd buy both the Blu-Ray and HD-DVD versions. I plan on buying both Shaun HD-DVD and Fuzz HD-DVD, even though I don't own either a player or a HDTV.

Demi why isnt Spaced on dvd here? BBC America bought the rights to air it on tv in America yet no dvd release? BBC America has many times in the past bought non-bbc british shows to release on dvd and they already have a investment in Spaced! Explain please

BBC America butchered Spaced. Did you see it? I don't want that mangled crud on DVD. The main reason is licensing issues with the music. Watch an original episode, then watch a BBCA episode, and you will see the difference.

I watched spaced via uh other means and not on BBCA. But still I would buy the butchered one just so I can put it next to my R1 Shaun of the Dead and (eventually) R1 Hot Fuzz.
