Portishead apprecian thread

Anyone else into Portishead? I'm a fan of Kanye West, and I remember him saying in an interview that Portishead was one of his inspirations for Late Registration. So after that I looked them up.

Pretty awesome band. Very gloomy, trippy music. Their lead singer has one of the most haunting voices I've ever heard. Before hearing this band, I wasn't familiar with "trip-hop", nor had I heard of it.

Glory Box


That's perhaps my favorite song of theirs. I couldn't find an actual video of it, so that's just a vid someone made for school

Sour Time


Very gloomy, haunting song. The video is pretty strange.

All Mine


Fucking awesome song, amazing video. The chorus blows me away.

Humming


One of the most awesome, haunting sounds ever. Reminds me of Black Sabbath a bit. And the video is crazy.

Youtube doesn't seem to have a real video for the song, but here's an ameuter video for Roads which is one of Portishead's best songs, if not the best.

Portishead is on my top 5 list of best sex albums, right along with pretty much anything by Massive Attack

Portishead fucking sucks. Corgan has more talent in his left nut than Portishead has in their entire discog. Get over it dipshit.

There is nothing to be ashamed of for liking SP, nor is there for liking Portishead. I simply said I think they're overrated, they do not have many good songs. In my opinion.
