Can't wait. I tried playing my PSP the past few nights and I just get so bored of it. Picked up my DS and started Portrait of Ruin... mmm... DS. Need to start picking up the games I've been missing.

Pokemon is on sale at Circuit City, btw. I'm getting Diamond. What about you? Let's trade Pokemon.

Because it's fun. And with the addition of WiFi, I can trade it with people across the interwebs, and even battle them. No need to find someone as lame as you who owns the same game and sit across from them with a cable.

So is the PSP still worthless if you don't use it as a multimedia machine? I got it rid of it 3 months after launch because the games sucked. The games weren't bad by portable standards but they all seemed like PS2-lite games. The new MGS is the only PSP game that's interested me enough to want a PSP again.

Not really, but demi has a short attention span. There are a bunch of games for it and considering Pokemon is the first worthwhile DS release since Christmas time, it's not like that system was lighting the world on fire the past couple of months.

PW 2 has been out for a loooong time if you count the japanese release which had full english dialouge. I havent touched my ds since Portrait of Ruin myself.

Yeah, my last DS game was Portrait of Ruin, which isn't exactly my favorite Castlevania... then I got a Wii and a PS3, and obviously most of my money as went toward all that bullshit and hoopla, but I think this'll be a welcome return to my DS.

Man I loved Portrait of Ruin, I would say its one of the top Castlevanias. I think maybe I just had Metroidvania fever when I was playing it

It was pretty good, I just had a lot of issues with it, like the level design and the repetitive rehashing of the stages in the second half of the game. I just thought it was very poor, uninspired game design. But then again it's fun to play, there's a lot to do, the challenge rocks and the music is awesome. Hey, even mediocre Castlevania games are still quite good.

Well, I've rid myself of my single powerful Pokemon obsession. I've caught 5 Pokemon so far. Pretty neat. I'm about to go to the second city to get the second gym badge at the moment. I finally got the Pal Pad and put my friend code up on frostitution.

I'm totally keeping my starter when I get one.

I'm leaning towards the Turtwig or Chimchar because I like their final forms more than the penguin's. The penguin is cool looking as a starter but has an ugly final form.

Ok, how far are you? I have Diamond. I only just beat the first gym, so I have slim pickings. I put my Onix I randomly grabbed on GTS for a PipLup just for kicks - since you can only look for stuff you've seen.
