The other major pizza joints let you order online (Pizza the Hutt, Dominos etc) but their websites and deals are not nearly as good as Papa Johns online interface. Truly they are the kings of online pizza ordering.

pizzahut.com and dominos.com have online ordering here, but the pizza is no good.

There's an online service in Los Angeles @ laBite.com that processes orders from about 100 different restaurants and delivers it for a small fee. I use that more than anything when ordering.

Dominos has no flavor and Pizza Hut is pure grease. Papa Johns is good stuff but Garlic Jims is my favorite. Wish they had online.

I used the Online ordering function when I had no phone and was bumming someones internet connection

Papa John's pizza is weird tasting though. Its like the last option on the tier of pizza places for me. Heres my listing!

I may have to check this labite.com out, although to be honest I don't order online food much. I haven't ordered pizza since the end of college football season. I prefer to cook as much as possible.

SubwayLA.com lets you preorder your food before you go in to Subway, but I've never actually tried it.

Alert: Papa John's does not suck anymore. Their pizza used to taste like old cheese and give me the runs. Now I'm runny-poop free. They're not so bad at all. No where near as good as Dominos though. Not like anything is.

You can order on the phone, but I'm not sure about online. I know of a couple Thai places that have websites here. I probably could find online Chinese delivery but I live within walking distance of two hole in the wall Chinese places and a Panda Express so unless I'm feeling too lazy to go 2 blocks there is no point.

Do they do delivery? Roundtable is my favorite dine in pizza place (the only one I'd dine in at actually) and Papa John's is my favorite delivery.

Yeah. I don't want to pay $20 for a large pizza made of grease. Too thin and too greasy. I think the reason I like Domino's is because of how thick their pizza is. So good..like biting into a cloud.

Yeah I understand. I have called for Thai and Indian delivery before because I don't have a car and there isn't anywhere nearby open late that serves those types of food.

A quick Google search found a bunch of phone numbers for places but nowhere with an online ordering system.

Yes, they do. They charge for delivery though. I really hate it when they charge for delivery because the delivery charge goes to the company and not to the driver. I still tip but some people won't because of the delivery charge.

I like Roundtable but there are some dine-in places that I prefer. For chains, I like BJ's or Uno Chicago Grill ( www.unos.com). Some Unos take online orders if anyone is interested. Uno is mostly on the East Coast though. I used to go to the one in SF. There are also some individually owned restaurants that I like but you've probably never heard of them.

Round table has far better toppings than any of the other major chains though. I think even Pizza Hut has slightly better toppings than Domino's. I get what you're saying about the crust though. I personally prefer Chicago style pizza more than New York style. BJ and Uno both make Chicago style pizzas.

Wilco, since you're living in Oakland, have you ever been to Zachary's? I loved that place. It's too bad that there's nothing around my area that is like Zachary's.

a warning to all you habitual non-tippers... us pizza guys know who you are we never forget a stiff... especially if there is a problem with the delivery(takes you a while to open the door or we have to call or you fucking balance your check book before giving me the fucking check) so your best bet is to tip... ive never messed with the food but if you like your food body fluid free id suggest you tip...

What do you mean about specialty pizza? Are you talking about the funky pizzas that you get from CPK or Wolfgang Puck's? I agree with you on the meat. I absolutely hate veggie pizzas.

That's why I hate the delivery fees that Pizza Hut/Roundtable charge. They go the company but people think that the drivers are already compensated for.

I prefer Pizza Hut and Papa John's to Domino's. The best pizza around here isn't a chain, though. It's just a little shop called Serpico's and it's fucking great. They hand toss the crust and everything.

It's pretty close to the arena where the WB/Scranton Penguins play hockey (AHL) and the players frequent the place. One guy, I forget his name, was traded to the Norfolk Admirals and when they played the Pens here, he took his new team out to lunch there. They all loved it and now the Admirals go there when they're in town.

Fucking great place, man.

Then of course there's Old Forge Pizza!

Mountain Mikes, Round Table and California Pizza Kitchen is what I normally go with. No online orders, but I hate some of the cheap breads other places use.

Togo's has online orders I think.
