America should have been destroyed during or after WW2?  The US's octopus-like tentacles of evil have killed millions; the insatiable appetite of the marketplace created the sweatshop industry;  chemical and drugs were tested relentlessly on an unknowing and innocent populace for more than 20 years;  the government's laissez-faire attitude in dealing with big businesses has made some corporations more powerful than entire nations; the lower class has been kept down and targeted by law enforcement and gentrification.

Would we be better off if the US had been dismantled after WW2?  Almost certainly.  The earth would be healthier and people would undoubtedly be happier.  If only our parents had sided with the communists in the 50s.  Or the fascists in the 30s and 40s.  This whole disaster could have been averted.

Today?  How can we make things right knowing that the dominoes of our nation's downfall were planted decades ago?  We can still force change.  I personally think America is finally ready to embrace a fascist government.

And you call me crazy.

Look, they even brainwashed the minorities.  Of all the people that should be able to pass judgement on this state due to past iniquities, I figured you would be the first to offer up your axe.  Or sword.  You truly are a race traitor.  What would Medgar Evets say?

America's ISPs impose invisible Bandwidth Caps (despite advertising as being an Unlimited Service) and make "No Competition" agreements with cities and towns so that other competitiors are shut out (thus fucking over the consumer). This is why BlueTsunami doesn't have FiOS at the moment.

So yes, I do agree that America should have lost and been dismantled during WWII

How is it racist?  Everyone has different aesthetic opinions.  So what if Toxic Adam correctly assumes that Nazi Supermen are more visually pleasing than any other human line?

Whatever, TVC.  I'm not buying it.  You know in your dark, shriveled little libertarian heart that you're happy the US is dominant- it lets you buy lots of diverting horseshit and have a high standard of living.  You only get erections when the market performs well- admit it!

You think I don't know that a society based on greed is inherently wrong?  Of course I do, but unfortunately, I am a product of that society, and going with the flow means more fun and toys.  The problems of the nation are beyond fixing, and my time can be spent on more entertaining ventures than trying feebly to change the nation.  It is the fault of the generation that preceded mine that lead to the state of things today.  We are living in their mess, and given a lemon, I'm just making lemonade.

The US doesn't even try to hide its perverse appetite for blood and war.  Look at this deliver mechanism for nuclear missels:

Masters of irony, it is named the "Peacekeeper."  It could be equipped with up to 10 warheads, each one 10x more powerful than the Hiroshima bomb.

Meanwhile, I'm stockpiling bottled water, seed strains, necessary literature and revolutionary tracts at my family's fortified compound in the mountains of north Georgia for the coming Apocalypse.  Also firearms; did I mention that?  That's right, this hippie peacenik is PACKING.

Wow, that would be one hell of a something to see outside your window one evening.

I think the US armada should have been dismantled after Stalin died, and that we should've gone back to our isolationist ways, breaking all our long term alliances.

Each one of those in our arsenal cost 400 million dollars.  I think all of them were retired a few years ago.  Wikipedia says we had 117.  That's 6.8 billion dollars that could've been spent better.  America cares more about its weapons than poverty, or education, or health care.

lolz, if you were a real libertarian you would be crying for that tax money back to the taxpayer instead of trying to have the govt. use it to fix anything.

Its kinda crazy that (seeing as it was put in an artillery shell and canon) they (Army) were thinking about using it on the front line in some form. Like it was some regular ol' artillery shell. A fucken nuke!

The explosion was like 6 miles from where it was fired.  I bet the poor saps they showed filming it died within several years.

If MAD/Full-retaliation and other forms of containment are indeed means of rationally-preventing catastrophic use of nuclear/etc weaponry (see: arguments over Iran's nuclear capability and why it's totally cool man), then isn't it accurate to call the US' most powerful weapons systems "peacekeepers" or other similar names?  Isn't it accurate to suggest that the more devastating and precise these weapons are, the more likely they are to "keep the peace" in this regard?
