Dreams Are Awesome: Here's The One I Had Last Night

Starts out at a baseball game... Sammy Sosa's in centerfield, near where I'm sitting in the stadium. After a minute, I'm all, "Hey Sammy, I'm putting roids on my hotdog!" At that moment some Asian guy jumps onto the field with a cartoon bomb. The black round kind with a fuse, and it's flashing. He yells "Heeeyaaaaaaaaaaaw," and throws it at Sosa, who instinctively catches it. It blows up. Seconds later, the supports holding up this highrise apartment building that overlooks the baseball field, blow up, and the building begins to fall into the canyon it precariously stands next too.

After that, I'm suddenly in the canyon, in a parking lot, having sex with this girl I think is hot. I watch the building fall into the canyon, people falling out, and all that noise, booom, just as we both get off. Quickly I get dressed, and I'm like, "See ya later girl," and run through the canyon as other buildings begin falling in, toward a door at the far end.

Got crushed, and woke up.

I dempt this then woke up and wrote it out


A dream; or the mathematical formula to the measure of a man.

Last night I dreamt; now today I dream,
of a formula engraved in my mind for all eternity.
It is for the measure of a man; were he equals,
his achievements and correction of mistakes
over those mistakes plus one, and all to the exponent of his legacy.

I understand its not very clear,
and you must forgive me if it’s not fully worked out;
as I can only remember as much as the dream would let me see,
Of that chalk covered blackboard in a room o, so very hazy.

That last verse was painful to hear; maybe Milton was right about rhyme,
being the lowest mechanic of poem, so lets dispense of it for then now.

- talk about achievements being the goal in life creating pleasure though fulfillment and creating good legacy. But is it all just achievements? Going from one to the next creates no whole purpose. Is survival the achievement though life and good legacy the achievement after death?
Is survival an achievement with out happiness? - others happiness maybe? Balanced with survival?

- mistakes being all wrong and created out of misguidedness (+1 so that man is always punished for mistakes because although you gain good out of mistakes, to purely benefit from them would make you loss the sense that it was wrong; and thus the gain from the mistake making it solly negative; does this mean repition of mistakes is truly bad and not misguided?

- correction of mistakes arguallably being achievements which is why it went from A * c to A + c, though correction of mistakes maybe greater and harder and thus worth more?

- legacy it is what every man wants, to survive and then to trick death but legacy isn’t really what they want, its to be remembered well; good legacy, but legacy is just a carrier of mans deeds, and thus the man, into the future and is impartial. Legacy is an exponent because it can make a really good man look really good or a bad man look really bad.

- is man his deeds? Look at what you just said on legacy. History changes men, does society influence men, why isn’t this in your formula?

- maybe have the forumla change depending on the outcome of each topic for style: remember original was M = (Ac/m)^L

Now having writing this I sit, half tongue in cheek
and think; am I a genius or just up to late on caffeine.
Or maybe, just maybe, I am rather mad,
and this formula has sense of beauty,
in creating a system that would make life all to easy.

in my 2nd year pyschology class we had to write a dream journal and you'd be surprised how many women dont make out peoples faces. They recognize people with other descriptive information. Like the way they dress, smell, say something distinctive. By the time we were done with the symester we (the class) came to the conclusion that men were much more likely to dream about pyshical characteristics than the women in the class. It was interesting to be a part of that. No real answer but, just saying your not the only one.

me personally i had a dream where i was a redcoat in startrek and the borg were after us. The only way out was to use this new tech that went horribly wrong and shifted us into a time bubble. everything outside the bubble was going like a milla second a year. People had kids and we turned the ship into a hippie community. People would get hiigh and then go use the holo-deck. Fucking great dream then i puked and woke up.

But he wouldn't and then he grabbed her hair and tried to pull her out the restaurant. But I jumped up, took a butter knife, and cut his hand off in one stroke. He started crying and ran into the bathroom. Then me and Cloud ran out the building and jumped into my 1995 Ford Explorer. I drove her all the way home with the gas ticker on E, and she gave me a kiss.

I think aspects of this dream might have been changes upon waking up.

I've had similar drunk dreams where you get arrested and stuff. Best dreams though are of sky diving i love dreams like that.
