Happily married to my wife, have a great group of friends whom we get together with almost every weekend. We also play on dodgeball and mini golf teams with those same friends. I get along very well with my parents and relatives. I absolutely love my job, get along with my coworkers and all the kids know me by name (Mr. George), like having lunch with me in my office and always want me to go play with them out at recess. I honestly can't complain.

It's not that good for me right now. I rarely hang out with anybody because like I said before, I've basically completely abandoned past friends because most of them were bad influences. I'm a social guy. I have no problems talking with people, and I have the cajones to ask a girl out. Hell I've been laid multiple times.

Right now, however, is very stressful time for me, and I'm not really willing to pull anyone iinto my life of bullshit. I want to distance myself until I'm better. There's nothing worse than getting involved with people during the worst times of your life, because you look like a total failure, a disappointment. Until I better myself, I want to keep it this way.

C. I'm maybe thinking I should have said B though. I don't like a lot of people. I'm no sociopath, I'm just not a big fan of constant companionship. Usually I spent most of the weekends doing whatever with friends. The usual bullshit. After a day or two of being around people constantly I pretty much want to just kick it by myself. I enjoy my own company every bit as much as others, so I sometimes do like to chill in the house all day and browse forums and Wikipedia, or read a book.

When I do have to be social I can. I've probably got some communication problems (It takes a bit for me to express my thoughts verbally), but no disorders or anxiety or anything like that. I'm just not a fan of the usual small talk bullshit. Sometimes I like everyone being quiet and just relaxing.

The only reason I don't get out of the house as much as I want to sometimes is because I've yet to get my license. I also need a job. Those are the only real obstacles in my social life though. I have friends. lol.

Also, another reason I do not depend on friends: they will fuck you over! The chances of successful friend : bad friend rate is very low for me, so I don't want to bother. I'll end up messing it up anyways.

Oh yeah, and I hate the pressure of having too many friends. People always calling you wanting to do something, asking for help moving, etc. I guess I honestly don't like being around people a lot.

I don't understand this logic. High School memories are complete crap compared to college/mid 20's memories. Those are the memories that will define you for the rest of your life.

Most of my major friends are people in a similar situation (fucked up early in life and paying for it now), a few of them are just people that understand my situation.

work friends are people that if you talk to them after work, you end up talking about the asshole who's been stealing shit from the lunch room and you never go into personal life details.

My coworkers are all 35+ year old female school teachers... I socialize with them in the lounge at lunch, but we really don't have much in common.

B - been hanging out with 2 different girls, have a small, but loyal, group of friends who I hang out with on a regular basis, and occasionally go out with co-workers, though they're big into bars and I'm more of a club person. I don't do much on weekdays, though, mostly just hang out at home. But I can't remember the last time I spent a Thurs-Sat night at home by myself (unless I wasn't feeling well).
