Tell me about Spokane, please.

Just got a letter from Gonzaga telling me I'm accepteed into their law school if I want to go. It's my only acceptance so far and I'm seriously thinking about going rather than dealing with re-taking the LSAT and re-applying while taking yet another year off. I'm already 26 so I'd arther get it done soon.

It's the only school that accepted you? And you're only considering it? Enjoy your time in Arizona.

yeah, my GPA was total shit (first couple of year, didn't even think of being a lawyer) and I wasn't as prepared for the LSAT as I thought. The only reservation I have about it is the cost. It's truly fucking expensive even with a $5000 scholarship. I'm hoping I can get about 20K in Loans and grants, otherwise I have to rely on the folks and they want to retire soon.

I had a friend from highschool who did her undergrad at Gonzaga. She told me stories about drinking with the Priests or whatever (and she wasn't even a party person in highschool).

For undergrads I heard if you're from Washington you can find a connection to anyone on campus within a few people. IE someone who knows someone you know from highschool or whatever.

I've been to a lot of towns in Washington, including Pullman, and never been to Spokane. Still I could ask my friend for stuff to do for a college kid if you want.

Thanks Bluemax, but I have pretty much gotten past my partying days. I just want to do well in my classes and hustle as much as possible to get a good internship.

Then again, it wouldn't hurt to hear what the co-eds are like  :-*

that would be welcome info, but you don't have to.

There's a reason why we refer to it as Spokanistan...

Actually, if you're going to be stuck on the East side of the mountains, Spokane is the best (and only!) place to be stuck. Congrats on getting into Gonzaga!

I'll post videos from my trip there this weekend.

First I gotta stop in E and get drunk with some people though.

I just returned and I swear they probably don't have zoning laws at all... It was like, house, apartment, wal-mart, apartment, car toys, houses, and then a park with an auto supply store in the middle of it.

Also, I went to Big K-Mart and found it inherently depressing.

I happened to run into a dude from there today and he says it's a pretty messed up city form a city planners perspective. Said that if they were to build a Nroth/Shout freeway it would take like 20 years or something.
