You're so far off. Holy crap. He was at the bank trying to open a savings account but didn't have enough money. As he left on his bike that criminal guy hit him with his car. The guy wrote him a blank check and took off because he heard sirens. The kid cashed the check thanks to the head idiot in the bank thinking he was sent by the criminal, and the kid makes off with the money.

I think I remember the entire script of that movie.
