A TA came into a lab i work in and was all chummy with me. Me and him had a huge argument about grades a year ago and now it feels awkward when he is nice to me.

Its weird for me because I suspect most nice behavior towards me is pretense. I don't particularly like being complimented in public either. Im not a big ol Glory Hound, I figure the satisfaction can be found in doing something right the first time.
