VCD's wtf?
« on: April 28, 2007, 09:06:36 PM »
I downloaded Hot Fuzz because I liked the movie so much I'd love to see it again, right? So I got it on my hd and the cock made it a fucking image file. I'm like,"okay, that's cool, that's cool." So I popped in a dvd and it runs out it was required to be burned via cd. Vcd, that's cool. So I burned it and not I'm trying to test it out and no dvd player will fucking play it.

No, I really didn't. I don't understand why this dumbass made it a vcd. Usually people just give us the straight avi, mpg, mkv, whatever. But this dumbass makes it an image file. Cock.

Gotcha. Still you didn't need to burn anything, you could've just used VLC, I believe.

Have you, like, never pirated a movie before?

When movies are still in theaters the pirate versions that hit the internet are (S)VCD's 90% of the time.

You can take those and convert them into DVD if you want, but yea, you must be a pirating newbie.

Texas education system

PD you're a dumbass. Most dvd players support vcd playback. The disc doesn't work in any of mine. I popped it into windows media player classic to test it out, and like I thought, it worked.

Nothing here reeks of stupidity. Take your idiotic Michigan educated ass back to finger bangin' your poop shoot you cum bucket.

Seriously, I bet you wouldn't know the difference between an image file and a jpeg. Semen sipper, you are on THE LIST.

Rule of thumb usually is if you downloaded it, VLC can handle it.

Yea, I fucking love it.

Well considering you downloaded a VIDEO FILE it's not hard to realize it should be opened in a VIDEO PLAYER

And you're the person telling me I have a lousy education? You just proved my prediction right.

VLC is good, but goddamn is the interface shit. Can't stand watching stuff in vlc.

Well there's your heads up then.

I'd imagine the download was in .bin/.cue format?

If you really want to get the mpeg file out of it without burning it or whatever, you can use a program like daemon tools to mount the image as CD, and then copy the .mpg out of it to your Hard drive.

I haven't downloaded a .bin/.cue in ages, so I don't recall if any other programs can do it easily.

Yes it was .cue/.bin.

Alcohol 120% is my preferred choice for that, but the new Nero handles them pretty well.

I haven't pirated a movie in ages. The last movie I downloaded was SAW 3, but I was on a SAW kick that weekend with peekvid. I hadn't pirated any movies in like a year or two before that. I kept hearing that the MPAA was going after people, and I didn't want to risk a fine or anything.

Alcohol 120% and Nero are for burning them though, aren't they? I'm talking about mounting the image so your PC uses it as a virtual CD drive. No discs to be burned or anything.

Oh. Yeah.

Daemon tools is for that. I'm not a big fan of Daemon tools to be honest. I pirated Starcraft once and I was unable to get the goddamn mount off of my cd tray. Probably some config I did, but I never used Daemon ever again.

If you want to get the thing unmounted, you have to open daemon tools again, lol. This'll put it in your system tray. From there you have to do something like right click>Virtual CD/DVD ROM>Set Number Of Devices>Disable
