I have an announcement to make, but I'll make it on Monday. The announcement has nothing to do with the meetup, but it might sway people's opinions on coming. We'll see

Assuming all goes well, here is what I know:

POTC3 meetup, May 25th

Showcase Cinemas has not posted their schedule for the 25th yet. When they do we'll be able to pin point a good time that everyone can agree on; I'm guessing a 5PM showing or something would be cool, maybe a bit later?

Now, what to do before or after the meet. We'll need to have a vote and decide whether we want to go eat before the movie, or after. I think a nice dinner/lunch/whatever meeting would be cool and allow everyone to talk and get to know each other. If you have an opinion feel free to chime in

Also, I would wonder if people want to do something fun after the movie (assuming we decide to go out to eat first). Putt Putt Golf or something, I dunno.

And if anyone needs a place to stay I would hope that I could help. Remember though, I have to do this behind my parent's back. I doubt they'd be thrilled at the prospect of me having strangers from the internets sleeping over.

Apparently the movie has been moved up to the 24th, which is a Thursday (the only showing is at 8pm though). I'm assuming Thursday isn't a good day for people due to school and work, including myself, so it's still scheduled for that Friday.

Now Showcase Cinemas still hasn't posted show times for the 25th, but I'll contact you guys when they do. Right now I'm think we'll head to a 4 or 5pm showing, since the movie is almost 3 hours long. Does anyone think that's a bad idea?

Finally, there's the issue of food. I'd hate to have people come all the way here and not eat, so we'll go somewhere. Since people are saying they want to drink, perhaps we could go to Buffalo Wild Wings? You can buy your beer in there and do whatever. It's not far from my house actually.

If we go to Buffalo Wild Wings, I'm guessing we'd go after the movie. How does that sound?
