The funny thing is that Dirk is gonna be named the MVP, and really only because the voters are tired of voting for Nash even though he deserves it more this year than the past two.  The NBA is such a fucking joke.

The MVP is for the regular season. If the MVP award was awarded for play in the playoffs, then Nash would have as many awards as Dirk.




And yes the blame ultimately rests with Dirk. He looks like he does not want the ball, and when he gets the ball he looks like he wants a double team to come so he can quickly get rid of the ball. If this was a game of hot potato, Dirk would be dominating.

Even if Nowitzki wanted the ball, Harris and Terry are terrible ball distributors. Neither one of them are point guards, they are tweeners who can call their own number, but can not make plays for others.

Why people have some kind of vendetta against Nash is beyond me. When he missed games, the Suns became a horrible team with a bad record. Those guys can't create shots for themselves. The Mavs could still be a top 4 team in the west without Dirk as far as I'm concerned. As he showed yesterday, Stackhouse is more than willing to lead his team (you know, like an MVP should), and Howard is pretty damn good.

Kobe doesn't deserve anything due to the Lakers' free fall during the last month of the season. It's gotta be either Dirk or Nash. Arenas was a contender for a few months but he was exposed. LeBron? Nah. Wade? Nah.
