Then still wait. The 4 disk set is the final cut of the movie(the directors cut isn't his cut). The cut Ridley Scott always wanted. The one on this was is the incomplete verison. And this is a big deal since Ridley Scott is infamous for having "good" theatrical cuts but amazing directors cuts.

Brazil and the Seven Samurai are both amazing (Jonathon Pryce is so, so great, seriously).
Mirrormask sucks although the girl in it is sort of hot in that dirty Jennifer Connelly in Labyrinth sort of way. Rob Brydon's alright too.
Blade Runner is overrated but still awesome.
Everything else is for total fucking morons.

Mirrormask was a great movie... Fuck the haters. I guess they can't use their brains for a movie.

I'll buy Blade Runner, but only when it's the non-gimped version. Fuck the horrible "Director's Cut" that Ridley Scott doesn't even like. I've always hated it. I've waited this long, I can wait some more. Maybe in another year or so.. Maybe on HD-DVD or Blu-Ray, I don't care. As long as it's finally released and I can put my laserdisc to rest.

well most of the complaints against the movie was that the story wasnt complex enough, but some of the most famous 'bedtime' stories were very simple with very universal themes and messages. With that in mind mirrormask, a jim henson studio production, is a great story. If any complaints are leveled at the visuals, well thats just stupid. Its on of the most beautiful and imaginative dvds I own.

Dark Crystal was one of my favorite movies as a child... still looked weird and freaky viewing it as an adult.

I keep hearing Blade Runner was pushed up a week, and a lot of people bought them yesterday, but I couldn't find any copies.

So I bought the new Pretty In Pink DVD. Fantastic transfer, great all new special features (new interviews with Molly Ringwald, Jon Cryer, Andrew McCarthy, Annie Potts, etc.). And only eight bucks w00t.
