Dude, the brother of a kid that I used to kind of be involved with (he turned out to be a CREEP) was just arrested and is now a sex offender because he was meeting a 14-year-old to have sex with her in his car. The girl was really the po-lice.

Is the age limit 17 or 18 in NY? I'm 19, I'd mess with a girl 2 years younger than me.

I believe the PA law is that you can't date someone four years younger than you, like a 19-year-old and a 15-year-old is jailbait. But I've also heard that 16 is the age of consent, so at 20 you could date a 16-year-old and not be arrested.

I do know though, that even if you're dating a minor and he/she willingly has sex with you, the parents can press charges against you for statutory (sp?) rape.

it varies... ranges from 14 in iowa to 18 in a few states... and yes its true that the parents can press rape charges...

there are also "age gap" rules that apply... your best bet is to mess with girls 18+
