Frizzy hair meltdown
« on: May 01, 2007, 02:41:43 PM »
So I figured since there's a strong homosexual current pulsating throughout Evilbore, I'd give you fhagurs a shot at this one.

Ok, I've got dead sexy curly-ish hair (and it's really not fucking ginger, but that's not the point). If I comb the shit straight back after a shower, it stays that way for a brief period of time before it goes POOF and gets ALL fucking curly and wavy like it's growing straight out of my brain. To remedy this, I either wear a hat/beanie/wig or I put some motherfucking mousse in my hair. Usually it's all good then and I'm styling y profiling, word

EXCEPT for days like today, where it's all fucking overcast and humid. I have like three gallons of shellac in my hair AND IT STILL WENT POOF the minute I left the house. My hair is a totally uncool nest of weird curls and friz and it's really not making me feel my best  :-\

So, ladies and gentlemen and gentlemen posing as ladies of Evilbore, what in the fuck should I do? Any products you recommend? I've already considered ending myself over this so let's just skip that.

I always used a hair straightener after I dried my hair and that worked for me. I doubt you would want to go that route though. They do make products for frizzy hair, I would recommend bed head.

i have the worst fuckin' cowlick in existence on the left (my left) side of my head.  ironically, i can't use mousse or gel, because it irritates my scalp, so i hafta just plaster it down with water and regular combing. it's like some sort of irrefutable physical manifestation of the nerd inside.

I don't think anyone prone to frizz ever has NO frizz on humid days. It's just one of those things. You can have LESS frizz with mousse, gel, products for frizzy hair, but never no friz.
