well I think his plan is to lose weight, and when he reaches a good point, redefines his work-out routine.
Let's face it, no one has a sure fire work out routine. Internet Guys wanna pretend they're in shape and know the perfect way to keep in shape but lets face it, most of us may be thin, but we aren't healthy. I think ultimately a good work out routine involves effort and drive, as long as those two things are there, there is precious little you could be doing seriously wrong.
