The majority of the troops are willing to keep fighting and NEED money, leave the powerplays for the 'off-season'. Witholding money to prove a point right when terrorist attacks are stepping up in Iraq is just bad.

Not to say I dont want to see a pullout, but if you KNOW he's gonna veto it why bother. Bush has done plenty to make people doubt him, but idiots keep backing him anyway. Making a statement with a bill right now isnt going to change anything except delay money to the people who need it.

Im not the worlds biggest Bush fan but there's also some truth to the unintended bad effect of internationally announcing when our troops will be gone.

In short, give our troops money and argue this shit some other way.
