I liked the Silent Hill games I saw/played. I even liked the movie, mostly. (shhhh)

I have a feeling they'll fuck up the adaptation for SH2 though. The potential is high for being the best game movie ever, but I'm sure they'll disappoint. I mean, the first movie had potential as well, and it completely forgets what made the first one creepy.

Hell yeah. Gameplay is HORRIBLE for all of them but for some reason I couldn't stop playing SH2, 3, or 4 when I played them the first time.

I have trouble playing through the SH games and System Shock 2. I just dont really enjoy games that are that INTENSE.

Yeah, it was. The dilapidated hotel/hospital remind me of nightmares I've had since I was a kid.

OMG and I have problems playing them, too. I can't do it alone, and sometimes I wimp out entirely and insist other people finish the games so I can at least see how the "story" ends without scaring myself half to death.

SH ain't that intense. I dunno. It's not all that scary, but it can be FREAKY and WTF, just not scary.

Maybe I"m just a heartless freak!

I can't play through SH1 because it feels so dated and the controls are pretty bad.

Well SH1 freaked me out cause of those twitching things under the cars, theyre so unnatural and wrong. Then SH2 had the whole being followed by pyramid head thing in the background which freaks me out. The whole being stalked aspect of a game can put me off.

I've never liked horror movies anyway tho.

System Shock 2 had those fucked up monkeys with their brains showing and the lights go out and you just hear the monkeys all around you and you know they're close.
