she is a democrat, and a very safe democrat. You think a REPUBLICAN would beat a democrat senator in California...?

You know how many scandals Feinstein has escaped? She has had corruption follow her in every position she's held.  She is powerful, crazy powerful and somehow untouchable. I imagine she escapes this one as well.

Barbara Boxer is california's favorite democrat, my friend was actually an intern for her once.  I don't think the average person would mind feinsteing going to jail.  If there is a miracle and the democratic party cracks down on any senator that's corrupt, would there be an election?

Dude, Feinstein is VERY popular in California. She is corrupt yet she still runs for re-election on the ballot. As did Mark Foley and Tom Delay in 2006. You don't get "kicked out" or "impeached" in congress like, ever. She has faced WORSE scandals than this, and gets re-elected.

The ethics commitee when it was ran by Republicans even let her slip by. As it was said, she is untouchable. She is going nowhere.


Feinstein is extremely popular, Ahnuld won't be running for the senate after his final term is up because not even he could beat her. Feinstein is a rock of California politics.

She'll be in the senate till she dies.

Also this story has NO traction. No major news outlet reported it with any significance.

I'm pretty sure I've seen senators impeached.  and like I said, the evidence in how feinstein's advisor and husband are linked to this company and how rich they got isn't somethnig you can disprove.  The fact that there's all the paper evidence makes this especially significant.

the problem is:

1. The media did not pick up this story or care about this story. It got no traction at all.
2. She has faced WORSE corruption problems in the past the the republican senate let it slide. This time is by no means her worst problem to happen to her. The ethical committee won't bring it up. It's not a big story compared to her history. And California by and large love her. Y

That's the amazing thing about this. This post was the first time I have heard about it and it was a story that broke a month ago.
