the way I and futami think is just the normal way humans think.
No, no it isn't. It's the way sociopaths think.
The way sociopaths think? Please.
Humans are selfish and morbidly bitter deep down inside them, but when facing others, will do anything to look rosy, since it'd otherwise mean to be a victim of these universal prejudices.
It's absurd to demand genuine concerns towards strangers. I didn't knew of this guy's existence apart from vaguely remembering his face from some Australian-themed DVD cover pastly seen in a video store as many others.
Let's not be bold, and let's admit that we're ruled first and foremost by our petty interests. If our interest in not getting bothered and constantly reminded of something we don't genuinely care about in a manner that we deem to be over the top, is greater than the loss of a sympathetic and brave entertainer, then nothing is more human and real than to feel like that. If nothing is acceptable other than fake compassion, then you get hypocrisy.
And ignoble opportunism. Big bonnets somehow gloat at these news. We'll see studios do special editions of his video material, etc etc... now that's really out of place, more than however a few apathetic people feel.
Seriously, if it's so fucking normal, I invite you to show your loved ones these "normal" posts. You won't, because there's enough "normal" left in you to be aware that it's wrong, and you don't want to feel that burning shame when they sadly shake their heads in disappointment. Rule of thumb - if you're too ashamed to show it to your folks, IT ISN'T NORMAL.
I have no problem discussing nearly any of these theories to anyone. Although I do not view anyone in the family very frequently anymore (if at all), everyone knows my views. In the end, people greatly appreciate this brand of candor, even if at first they think it's frowned upon.
It's the exact opposite of seeking conflict. It's gaining the agility to tip-toe any issue and
avoid conflicts, and turn unwarranted gloom into marvelous rosiness. It's acquiring true scruples and a true sense of compassion. And calling dreadfulness out
when it it deserved. I don't have a lot of occasions to use them, but I developped great social skills.
