That's what the bottle of coffee I got off the vending machine says.  And it's pretty good coffee, too.

Japanese packaging is interesting.  Y'know how in US advertising, the idea is always to have a very short, catchy message?  Well, in Japanese advertising whenever there's English it serves a mostly decorative purpose so they try to put in hugely long sentences and they always sound a bit odd.

You're drinking coffee? What time is it over there?

Edit: Yeah, what the hell is quaff?

4 PM.

And quaff is a real word and it's being properly used, it's just not really common so it feels like some Japanese guy looked up synonyms for "drink" and came up with "quaff."

Ah, so Japan is 11 hours ahead of NY. I'll remember that.

Not looking this up in a dictionary or anything but if I recall correctly, quaff means to take a big drink or a big gulp of something.

It's seriously too close to queef.

What's queef?

And yeah, what Mupepe said.  I'm proud I remembered the definition pretty well, as it's been about 15 years since I last read that word in a sentence.

I think you can also use it as a verb.  For example, "He quaffed down a large draught of beer in mere moments."
