it's been raining heavily(for california

)so I thought I'd go check out the falls. they had the entrance to the pathway sealed off, because it's dangerous with rock slides and boulders coming down the sides of the mountain. Ya boy climbed around all the shid they put up and went in anyway

was nervous walking up the pathway, I could see where slides happened and boulders had knocked over trees

that's about as close as I was willing to get.

the lil fence with the signs is always there before you get to the waterfall, everyone goes over that one

normally there's not much water at all. sad that when it's like this they have to close it down. once I tried to go when there was light rain and the entire park was closed

was on my way to get a pizza and caught sight of the sun going down behind the rain clouds. had to stop and watch for a bit. the pictures do not capture the magnificence. I really should have forgot the pizza and just drove to the beach to watch
