I've got Crohn's too, recently got re-diagnosed with it (had to drink barium and magnesium citrate over for different procedures

).
My symptoms aren't very bad at all fortunately, and I'm not on any meds at the moment, though I think my new gastro might try to change that. Hopefully my symptoms won't get worse, it worries me some. As if now they're mild enough that I'm unable to figure out what I shouldn't eat, if anything in particular pisses my gut off, but I do avoid drinking. I don't (and never did) like the thought of it outside of the disease thing anyway, so at least I don't have to feel like I'm missing out there.
It does seem that I can eat whatever I want without putting on fat, but I don't think I'm actually undernourished... fast metabolisms seem to be in the family (unless everyone's got secret mild crohn's). I guess my usual weight is quite low, only like 125 for a 5'10" guy... I've put on a few pounds of muscle mass this year, up to 129 or so

You can see some of my ribs still but I'm not sure that's all
that abnormal.
It sucks that you have to deal with the weight loss Bebpo

20 pounds in a year is a lot.
Getting medicated seems absurdly expensive in the US these days, as Bebpo's pointed out, so I'm really hoping that I can avoid it. Also, for socialized medicine, or at least better regulated and more affordable health care.
