Would the Jazz have beaten the Mavs too?

The Jazz beat the Warriors tonight and they also won 2 out of 3 against Dallas.  If the Mavs had beaten the Warriors, would they still have lost against the Jazz?

I think the Mavs would trounce the Jazz.

But remember, although the Jazz one this first game tonight, the series is far from over. I think the Warriors are more than capible of stealing a road game, and considering they most likely won't lose a home game...they can easily win this series imo

Why not?  Who would guard Boozer?  I also don't think that either Terry or Harris can handle Deron?  Okur is another mismatch for the Mavs.  OTOH, the Jazz can probably stick AK47 on Dirk.  I guess, in retrospect, it's kinda hard to see why so many people think that the Mavs are pretty big favorites to win the championship.

If the Mavs are capable of trouncing the Jazz, why did they lose 2 out of 3 against the Jazz?

In the regular season? I don't know. What I do know is that overall the Mavs match up much better against the Jazz than they do against the Warriors. They would have little trouble shutting them down, and I think Dirk would actually be able to thrive
