I'm just saying it feels a bit too much like an extension of License to Ill. The production is unimpeachable, and the second half is pure gold, but I think the first half is still marked by a blatant air of juvenility.
I'm pretty sure that all the meathead, frat rocking Fight for Your Right to Partiers were completely thrown for a loop from "Hey Ladies", and it's quite an understatement to say that they didn't quite get "Shake Your Rump", either.
It's the sound of a band growing up and totally confusing their fanbase. I disagree that it was juvenile.
