Stay away from stalker I made the mistake in purchasing that game. Thank god target allowed me to take it back without a receipt to get a new copy to take back to bestbuy for full price even though i bought it for cheap $24.99 made 15 bucks by using the system.

Right now, I am playing Tales of Pirates. It's a free MMORPG .. very well done, hits all the right "buttons" when you are looking for a MMO to play. The art is cartoony, but not so over the top that it's annoying.

Got AOE3 and Civ IV

I guess I'll get SupCom, STALKER, C&C3. I'll pick up HL2 again so I can get CS:S and Episode 1. Company of Heroes I'll be getting too. I also have the urge to get Oblivion. Also, I want Battlefield 2.

I also want FEAR. And I just bought Fallout 1 and 2.

Stalker is a really fun and tense experience. The respawn rate gets kinda old but it keeps things pretty exciting. I atmosphere is great too. FEAR is great fun on PC.

How far back can we go with the game recommendations?

BF2 is a must get. It's basically the only thing I've really played in the last two years - which means it's either so incredibly awesome, or I'm just lame, or a combination of both.

I just picked up SiN Episodes for $10. I figured for ten dollah I can't go wrong. I loved the first SiN soooooo so much (which Episodes includes as well!)

Quake IV was a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. That's dirt cheap these days. The Prey demo was incredibly awesome and I think the super special Limited Edition is less than twenty bucks now.

I'm still kicking myself for not getting another GB of RAM before the PC industry decided to completely abandon 184-pin DDR. It's like Taiwan pulled a giant lever one day and the conveyor belts instantly started spitting out DDR2 instead. I can't hang with those prices right now.

I only mentioned them since they seem to be pretty popular here and at other forums I go to. The other games I either own or have played through long ago.

My computer build in july will be 4gb's I know its overkillish but with a quadcore processor and that thing I'll be set for a long while probably. Now if only ATI released a price for the 2900hd so I can compare between that and the 8800gtx

1300 bucks can get you a quad core, 4gb of ram 117 bucks per 2gb (i go for value), a graphics card, and mobo. And a few other things. I'm saving up my money on the side to add to what I'm gonna be given so I can build something nice. I might not buy 4gb of ram right away, but thats kind of part of my plan. Hopefully it works out.

And yes i'm pretty poor dude. 2200 bucks for yesterdays surgery and I had to pay 600 bucks onsite after I was done getting worked on. I'll get some of that back from my insurance in 6-8 weeks, thats about when I'll be getting some money from my grandfathers buy out of my stocks.

I need a computer thats my own, but I also gotta get a car. So I have to make sure my grandmother doesnt buy another 46grand Lexus. Were getting rid of the car I drive around with and hopefully buying two cars. One for me and one for her.

My grandmother wants to order a GS, since she cant get into her RX 300 suv that they currently drive. The Lexus dealership has been baiting her with offers cause they know the LS (car I drive) is getting old and not performing well. So they have a Lexus loyalty discount on options and all kinds of things. And she wants it pimped out.

Me personally I think she should buy a Toyota (lexus is Toyota) and then buy me a reliable used car. Maybe another Santa Fe or VW.

My grandfather gives me money for my stocks cause he doesnt want me to sell them, not like I can! And cause then he can sell off his stocks that are performing badly. And by the end of this month he'll have finished those decisions. He likes to have a nice portfolio of investments.

I always recommend Guild Wars.

BF2 can be fun, but I warn you ti's not the cleanest game and it screwing up will piss you off.

Titan Quest is a nice d2 clone with multiclassing.

WoW is more time consuming than fun.

Those are the 4 main games I've played on PC in the past couple years.

You can get 2gbs of Corsair value ram for less than 110 bucks right now. Granted they dont have the timing that make for great OCing. Its still fast enough for most. Get some better ram and you can be ocing that beautiful Intel chip you got. Maybe not on stock cooling. But those conroe chips seem to be great ocers.
