All 6 members of Python consider if the greatest of their 4 films and 99.9% of everyone has seen all 4 movies call it the greatest. I don't know anyone who has seen all 4 films in their work to not call Brian the best other than a select few.

It's their only film worthy of criterion!

no. The pythons have all said in the big autobiography they wrote a few years ago that the Holy Grail obsession in America is absurd and stupid. They said Europe is "smart" enough to realize Life of Brian was their best work. 

Generally I would think its considered even amongst holy grail fans here in America that their television series was their height and their best work. TVC will back me up on that!


I LOVE Holy Grail but my biggest pet peeve in all of moviedom is people who worship it yet ignore their other 3 films. Sooo many people I talk to who bring it up never saw the other 3.

Yeah, LoB is certainly better than Holy Grail.  Holy Grail is like the movie the great nerd unwashed favorite.  It's still a funny movie, but Life of Brian is soooo much better.
