Photoshoppers help please.

I have a school project where we have to write a poem, along with other works on an objects 

Well I have this poem:

A pit for freemen prisoners, such as I. 
Slowly climbing to freedom,
On the corpses as the body count rise; 
From the thousand deaths I died.

and the idea would be to write this in the pit with blood, as some one leaving a message, the only problem is my camera is broke so I can't do it in some dirt and then take a picture of it.  This leaves me with photo shop, but I have no skills at that.   So could some one please help me and write this on this picture and make it look like blood?  It would really help me out.

I don't know much about photoshop, but this seems like an easy task. Someone around here should be able to accommodate you.

Why does it have to be in dirt? Why can't it be stone? If it's stone it can be opaque, but since it's in dirt we have to do all this stuff like emboss to make it actually make it look like it's written in dirt.

We dirt because it suppose to be written into the side of a pit with a bloody finger or bone, or something.

I like himus a lot but the dirt need to be darker, so the letters come out more.

true.  If you want to do it on stone that would be great to, but I'm content with what you already did if you have the original photo shop file so we can darken the dirt? 

edit:  its still hard to read himu, lol.  try a going as dark as my pic and brighting the lettering if thats possible.
