Opa-Ages is amusing solely because they have the good taste to prefer PC gaming and the 360 as a majority. That, and most of the dumb fuckers who post there manage their lives as poorly as they do their internet acumen, and you'll generally hear a few hilariously awful stories or admissions. It's certainly a lot funnier than GAF for that reason alone -- OA is actually ashamed of its collective inability to interact with the real world, whereas the GAF OT seems unrepentantly proud of its geekhood. OA has only one Teddman and one Fishie; GAF is overrun by 'em.
Anything else -- specifically, social commentary or political analysis -- is just fuckin' embarrassing teenboy blithering of the most uninformed and inarticulate variety. It leaps between drooling circlejerk and raving hatefuck at the drop of a hat, which is ultimately about as amusing as one of Jotaro's long-winded pseudo-Nietzchean monologues, albeit rendered slightly more tolerable by those wonderful emoticons they have.
The only reason anyone defends OA is because the freaks like to pretend that they aren't part of a circus but are instead somehow a community, no matter how dysfunctional. The Amazing Acne-Boy may hate the Hentai Wonder Twins who in turn may loathe Kid Terminal Shut-In, but they'll get their back up when the normals try to poke a stick in their shared cage. Good times!
