The problem here isn't so much someone giving frinedly advice it was the matter in what was suggested.  It was made for people to get a laugh or chuckle at someone elses expence.  Jorato I think tried to expalin it in as being a friendly tag.

However, if so you don't release it to the public, espcially Opa-Ages, where there is known to be no holds bard.  That being said, if it was being a "jerk" as you suggested jorato then it would be a one on one with someone perhaps saying it in a friendly matter or just a bit of advice.

When you speak to girls like that you NEVER make comments on their weight as bluntly like that, espcially towards friends.  I have a lot of girlfrineds too, and in the job that I work in we berate each others looks daily (as we were hired sorta based upon them), and not once (no matter how good of friends or great co workers we become) has anyone ever suggested to a GIRL like that to loose weight.

I live my life by the idea that all women should be treated with a respect and kindness that is always above that given to men. I treat women differently from men because they are different. They are no better or worse, but they are clearly different. As such, an action that might be 'acceptable' to do to another man is not my any means acceptable to do to a woman.

In real life, you're surely at least partly right.

However this is the Internet, and it kinda blurs differences, and makes everyone stand on a more even level. It seems real weird that any negative action commited towards a female is seen as inacceptable, I'm not sure that females are always innocent, helpless beings that must be deemed as victims in any situation.

Girls do realize that this is what constantly happens and (in some cases) use these uneven perceptions to pull men's strings and abuse their protective instincts for their own selfish advantage.
