Best ship battle in a star trek movie. Lots of people will go blah blah wrath of kahn. Wrath of Kahn was about the intensity between the two commanders. Wrath of Kahn ship battle vs Nemesis ship battle is like Alien vs Aliens.

In any case, watching things blow up is awesome. I still wonder why in all the years they never fixed that pesky sparks shooting out of consoles issue. I assume its a power surge of some sort. The best scene was when half the bridge got thrown out the front window:

I enjoyed it. It isn't horrible by any means. I think both it and Final Frontier are under-rated. The only bad Trek film IMO was Insurrection. How I'd rank and rate all ten:

1. The Wrath of Khan: 10/10
2. The Undiscovered Country: 9.5/10
3. First Contact: 9.5/10
4. The Voyage Home: 8.5/10
5. The Search For Spock: 8/10
6. Generations 8/10
7. The Motion Picture: 7.5/10
8. Nemesis: 7/10

Generations was fan service but I quite enjoyed the pre-OMG KIRK WITH PICARD stuff. It was a epic feeling TNG episode. And had some of the best Data moments in the franchise.

Nemesis was okay.

Final Frontier was a fucking shit on the entire franchise though. How anyone could even enjoy that film is beyond me. I like Insurrection WAY better than fucking Final Frontier.

Insurrectioin is REALLY bad

Boogie: that site is pretty spot on, but I still liked Nemesis. Ive sadly come to accept plot holes in star trek movies.

Yeah, before I realized the plot holes, I loved Nemesis. Nemesis only sucked after I realized the plot holes.

Oh wait, it sucked whenever it tried to play B-4 as eventually going to be Data after they fucking kill him off.

I enjoy final frontier(I dont LOVE it by any means) because of one thing.

Kirk, Spock, & McCoy together for 2 hours playing off eachother well.

Well TUF is #2 on my list, Final Frontier is #9.

And Data is staying 100% dead. TNG is long over and J.J. Abrams who has full control over the franchise now does not care for the post-Kirk stuff so any chance of a almost impossible reunion once more are long gone.

What needs to happen with Star Trek in general is they just need to give the franchise a rest for 14 or so years, ala Doctor Who.

Star Trek (that is the final title) is out in December 2008. J.J. Abrams is directing it and is a reboot of sorts of the original series era with Matt Damon as Captain Kirk. It will have the classic gold/blue/red uniforms and the skirts and go-go boots and all.

Paramount is already planning on doing 2 sequels for it with JJ directing all 3. Sorry kiddo.

Insurection and undiscovered country are the two worst star trek movies. At least I can watch undiscovered country and laugh at it. Insurection is unbearable, I cant watch it at all.

Nemesis does indeed rock, its got just enough of everything good about star trek to make it good enough for multiple viewings.

You are probably confused. Undiscovered Country is far and wide considered the best right after or alongside Khan.

It isn't a silly movie to "laugh" at. You are probably thinking of Final Frontier.
