I remember back in the day when Liz was in the same conversation as PJ Harvey about "angry new young women singer/songwriters". This was the Exile in Guyville/Whip Smart era, before she got all poppy. Nowadays, she's kinda meh.

Yeah rocking LIz Phair was better. Her face did get harsher with age, but she was hot back then. And if we're talking angry girls, lets not forget Tori Amos with DSL.

I think a lot of people wrote her off after her admittedly pop 'Liz Phair'. If you get a chance, download her last album "Somebody's Miracle". Much better lyrics but still with a pop sheen to them.

It took a few listens, but it really grew on me.

Her most underrated song is Polyester Bride.

I watched "Everything to me" and it was just boring, generic music. I like the polyester bride lyrics, but music is sorta eh. It's not hawt like Supernova.
