I always try to argue with people that say they had memories when they were infants. It's just not possible. I think they remember photos and contruct a reality around those images.

But , it's a circular arguement, because how can you really argue what someone thinks they remember.

1. Episodic or autobiographical memories are formed in the hippocampus and not the cortex.
2. These are unconscious processes, not the result of conscious self-bias.   
3. Scientists are not simply interested in making new discoveries; they also want to understand known phenomenon.
4. Prose should be clear and lucid. Stylistically, heavy or flowery prose should be avoided. Words should be chosen for maxim accuracy and clarity not to impress people on the interwebs.
