I hope if it IS SC2 they put as much effort into the single player as the first games. I dont do the online play longer than a few weeks, exceptions being maybe AOE3/Rise of Legends/Kohan

ok first off wrong, it's not a fucking mmo they need to create a whole world for.

some douche will make 50 maps, some guy will give the units pathing, and the lame story will be made while alpha is out.

I actually have no basis for disliking diablo 2, just I'm not big on dungeon hacks to begin with but I liked diablo 1 because I played it one summer with a friend and I didn't get that same experience with 2.

given that diablo 2 does everything diablo 1 does and then adds massive, massive improvements in terms of depth and mechanics on top of it, i'd argue that anyone who not only claims that diablo 1 > diablo 2 but that 1 is great while 2 is crap is, in fact, OBJECTIVELY DUMBZ0RZ.

It's the first game to really introduce the basics of time/money management in how you build your army but it's really easy to get and everybody knows how to play it so it got very popular. You can probably find the story somewhere (it's lengthy) but the game recommends you play the campaigns in order. Has an expansion called Brood Wars.

What is your problem? Why would you expect them to reveal Diablo III in South Korea, at a competitive gaming event?

Diablo 3 is coming. At the Q&A they mentioned that SCII has been in development since 2003, when they finished Frozen Thrown. Around 40 people are working on the game with unlimited resources. Now...we know Blizzard has a pretty huge staff. It's not hard to imagine that Blizzard has a third team working on Diablo to some degree or another.

World of Warcraft is one of the worst games released this decade and perhaps the worst game purchase I have made in memory and I never got addicted to Starcraft(though its a good game I admit) so come on Blizzard, give me Diablo.

After playing a game with each race in SC:BW for the first time in two years I'm actually now kinda looking forward to what SC2 is going to be like. I lost all three games but I find I had the most fun with the zerg and all their spawning and evolving and shit. The terrans are kinda 'meh' and the protoss are too quirky to be fun as I kept forgetting wtf did what, etc with them. Funny because when I used to play regularly years ago the protoss were my favorites and I thought the zerg were stupid. I'll probably play a couple more games tomorrow and see if I can actually beat someone this time.

I've been playing off and on the past couple weeks. I had a time back when I consistently competed with the best players on bnet, and was even random during that time! But times have changed and I mostly just go into 3v3 BGH and 3v3 ZC just so I can win some games. I'll do some luna, r point, or temple. I'd like to learn the newer WGTour maps if anyone's up for 1v1ing on all the different ones.
