That preview footage had an almost pornographic amount of gore and violence in it. This is going to be the greatest movie ever. I'm not even sure that the gif in the first post would be allowed in an R-rated movie. As long as we get the uncut version on DVD, I am happy. ALL HAIL THE NEW STALLONE COMEBACK!

This is Stallone's movie. He's writing, directing, producing and starring. He is paying for it himself. I doubt he will let it get cut down to PG13.

Hey PD, if Willis had said "I won't star in a new Die Hard unless you allow us to make it R", what do you think the studio would have done? It would either be R-rated or there wouldn't be one at all, which would be far preferable to the neutered PG-13 crapfest lensed by the genius behind the Underworld flicks, which is what we're gonna get. lol distinguished mentally-challenged fellow

When these projects are undertaken, they have a rating they are targeting before filming even began. Bruce probably knew from day 1 that this was going to be a pussy PG13 Die Hard. I'd rather wait a year and see Rambo turn nips into hamburger meat.

He did. He admitted it in his Vanity Fair interview with Peter Biskind, and re-affirmed it in his Q&A over at Ain't It Cool News. Willis knew the movie was going to be pussified and he did nothing to prevent it. Stallone rules, Willis drools.
