With the revelations that the PS3 version will be released sometime before March 08, the crew more or less confirm that a Xbox 360 version of the game will be released around six months to a year after the PS3s.

yeah, the ps2 was clearly dominating the xbox when the mgs2 port was announced. this time, the potential mgs-purchasing demographic is all on the 360. it's really not good news for the ps3, no matter how you slice it, although it won't do jack for the 360 in japan regardless of what gaf thinks.

9 GB remains more than enough for 360/PS3-gen game design. Might be tough to squeeze a load of high-definition video on there, but MGS games have largely had in-engine cutscenes.

someone at gaf made a fake pressrelease which said that mgs 1 2 and 3 would be remade for the 360. it was full of errors and one of those errors was triology (which is spelled like you know trilogy). then ign came an made this into a story

I love MGS4. As soon as it is actually announced, the only reason I'll have to buy a PS3 will be whatever game Team ICO comes out with. And yes, that will be enough for me to purchase a PS3.
