Quote
California has a lot of Hispanic voters and they don't know I'm Hispanic," said Richardson, governor of New Mexico and son of a Mexican woman named Lopez.

His decision to officially launch his bid for the White House on Monday in the state with the largest Hispanic population was more than symbolic. It was strategic.

"I am saying 'It's Bill Richardson Lopez and I am one of you and I would like you to consider me, [doublethink] not because I am Hispanic [/end doublethink] but because I have the best program for the country'," he told Reuters in an interview late on Monday.

That isn't the least bit transparent, but you can always count on ethnic nepotism.

Bob Dole: Can I say something, Pat? I don't know what my good friend Pierre Dupont - and that's your name; come on, it's Pierre, not Pete, don't go around telling people your name's Pete when it's Pierre - Pierre, I don't know what you know about Social Security. I mean, Bob Dole didn't grow up with a 150-foot yacht, I didn't have the convertible for graduation, the sterling silver cocktail shaker, or the machine that tears the tennis balls at you..

This is pathetic.

If you ever run for office you'll have to remind people you're black, just like Richards has to remind people he's Hispanic, otherwise they will not know.

 Maurice becomes LaMaurice-shandra-Ali.

"You may not tell from the color of my skin, or the way I talk, or the fact that I'm running for the Republican party... BUT I AM BLACK... no really... stop laughing... okay that's too much... please stop"

Bob Dole: Can I say something, Pat? I don't know what my good friend Pierre Dupont - and that's your name; come on, it's Pierre, not Pete, don't go around telling people your name's Pete when it's Pierre - Pierre, I don't know what you know about Social Security. Sounds like an SNL sketch... and red state populism, not like ethnic politics.
edit: I opened myself up there

It's kinda sad seeing him devolve to this. His campaign isn't going anywhere, and this won't help him gain traction.

I can't wait to see how the urban black vote swings between Obama and Hillary. My grandparents live in Detroit they're already getting bombarded by both sides. Hillary has lots of trust with blacks in the various big cities while Obama is still a question mark to a certain degree. We'll see

Blacks can only trust Obama half the time.

I'm not getting a sense that he has lots of black support. It's early of course though so we'll see. My dad is on Obama's Michigan election board (or whatever), and he said most of the people on it are indeed white. But then again this is Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, a pretty white academic area.

Most people are stupid.

Judging from the 2004 election, most people that vote are stupid.

So in conclusion:

Stupid women (all races) will vote for Hillary because they're like "omg women in the white house, we owe it to ourselves" and stupid black people (mostly males, because we all know black women do not vote) will vote for Obama because they feel they're obligated to or some shit.  This is the only time I will say we need more black males.
