Thunderforce V! Is this jp only?

It's on the Saturn, I know that, but will I have to import? I love Thunderforce 2 and 3 on Genesis and I'd like to play this. :(

Just look at this shit. It looks GODLY. Thunder Force what happened to you? Where is my new Thunder Force?

I was gonna say I swear I played that on PSX. It was pretty good but for some reason I have a much harder time with side scrollering shooters versus vertical ones.

It's not hard to find, though.
I wish they'd release them for XBLA or something. Thunderforce IV is my personal favourite as it was the first I played (can't believe it even got released in the UK).

Yeah, we got it in the U.S. too under the name "Lightning Force."  Such an awesome game...I'd rather see that on XBLA than TFV.

Lightening Force is a really cool game but what I never understood about it is how come the first stage's boss is a total pain in the ass, but everything else is pretty easy?

wd didn't screw up the us release, but the ps1 port is pretty bad -- it's missing lots of parallax layers and background details and effects, and some levels consequently look horrible.
