Left Behind: Eternal Forces! Jesus FTW!
« on: September 10, 2006, 02:52:37 PM »

Set in New York, the game begins with smoldering landscapes, the eerie streets and wandering nonbelievers and evildoers. The object is to convert nonbelievers and ultimately prevent evil forces from taking over the world.

Want to ward off evil? Hit the prayer button.

Along the way, players find clues to Bible mysteries and other information. Christian rock groups provide background music.

The PC-only game cost between $3 million and $5 million to produce. It will sell for $49.99.

My mom got sent some stuff about this not too long ago. She loves the book series while she's not religious much she loves the fiction. They are trying to get her to preorder it and you get it signed by the book authors. I'm tempted to get it cause thats pretty cool but i dont think the authors should have proffited so much since the series was actually intended to be in the non religious section of book stores. But they got picked up by a christian book company and so the story goes.

DOWN WITH THE NON BELIEVERS Curt Champbell will convert them all...

The setting of Left Behind would be great for a game, if made darker and made to invovle survival instead of evangelism.
