I have been having internet problems the past few days and finally it got shut down totally so I called Grande to see what the deal was. Apparently my roommate has been sharing the program ROME for a few months. Grande has been trying to call us but we dont have a phone hooked up to the land line so we never got the message. I think they just gave us a slap on the wrist though.

The funny thing is my roommate is currently on his graduation trip in Rome! lol

I should email him and say that the FBI came and was looking for him.

HBO torrents stay far the fuck away from. They will get you no matter what. Even if your spoofing and using peer guardian they get right up in your shit and then they get on the isp asap. i had my router open for a few weeks and someone was leeching shit tons of hbo programs.

30 rock is another one but thats not NBC its the production company going after people.

No not really Cajole. what i hate is that they are only going after americans/canadians for downloading the shows. which is just stupid. They dont offer the shows online like most places should. At least ABC, CBS, NBC have learned and put up their more popular shows within a day online to watch.

No. Even if they subpeonaed all connections to Stage6, it wouldn't be enough info to reliably track down individual users.

They can place advertisement in the damn shows online if thats the case and only have them up for a limited time. i know its premium and fucking expensive as hell. For basic digital its 58 bucks here. Add 22 bucks for HBO and you still have to pay for showtime and starz. Cable costs too much nowadays.

Plus fuck 99 dollar 10 episode crappy box sets, YEAH FUCK YOU SOPRANOS

I dunno. . .the Entourage DVDs are ususally (almost, lol) fairly priced, and all the other shows do have production values through the roof, and they can't count on advertising to pay for the shows. While I get pissy over buying 80-100 dollar sets, I do understand why they cost that much.

FWIW, for their hour long shows, I would pay 5 bucks an ep if they were made available on iTunes.

60 bucks WAS down in price. Sopranos sets were all 100 a pop. I believe the first 3 are 50-60 now.

All the seasons of the Wire are like 50. That show rocks.

You can get deals at times. Best buy had a 50% off HBO sets excluding some a few months ago. But really its just overly priced. i just borrow my neighbors entourage sets when i can. $:-\$ Thank god they werent like this when six feet under was on i would have killed someone.

Sopranos Season 1-3 can be had for 40 bucks if you look for it in brick and mortar stores. And it's definitely fucking worth it. I spent 130 bucks on Sopranos Season 6 HD DVD and I felt I got my money's worth. I fucking love that show.
