Not the best film but the movie he acted the best in. I would say Ed Wood followed by Finding Neverland

The Libertine because the very first scene of the movie has him fingering some woman in a carriage. Ironically, that's the only scene I've bothered to watch of the movie.

Donnie Brasco (bought it last night while on blow lol!), Blow or Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.  FUCK, SO HARD!

I chose Fear and Loathing though.  I guess because I feel like watching it right now.

He was so good in

Blow
Fear and Loathing
Sleepy Hollow
Edward Scissorhands
...

I'm a huge Depp fan.  :drool

I voted for Blow, as that's his only movie to have "Black Betty" on the soundtrack.

Where's the option for The Ninth Gate?

Okay, but seriously now...  I voted Sleepy Hollow, even though it was a reeeally tough choice.

OMG the ninth gate.  I rented that for Depp, unaware what a fucking SNOOZE it was AND unaware Polanski is a pedo.  Ugh.

Ninth Gate and Polanski.

NOTHING MORE NEEDS TO BE SAID.  It's your own fault if you watched it.

And Willco likes House of the Dead.

The book that the Ninth Gate is taken from (The Club Dumas) is so far superior as to render the movie pure trash in comparison, though it is still better than Sleepy Hollow.

I am dumbfounded by this.  How is this even possible?

This is missing Benny & Joon.

I'd go with Ed Wood, Gilbert Grape or Fear & Loathing.

Ed Wood.  It's a toss up between Ed and Fear, but Ed gets it since Ed Wood isn't a shitty movie.

It will probably be in the 800's. No boxoffice tracking outlet expects it to crack 1 billion like POTC 2 did.

I added pretty much all of these movies on my queue and after I view my first batch that's on its way, I'll put the Depp movies to the top so I can have a Depp marathon.

Which should I see first?

1. Fear and Loathing
2. Blow
3. Ed Wood

?

Ed Wood is probably easiest to get into out of all them and is highly enjoyable. One of the best movies about hollywood in a long time and has a fantastic fantastic cast.

Johnny Depp, Martin Landau (won an oscar for this movie), Bill Murray (one of his earlier somewhat serious roles)...etc

Edit: because fear and loathing is a very selective taste. It is very weird and either you hate it or love it
