Yeah, the fitter you are, the better you can tolerate the heat.  One of the changes exercise encourages is increased blood flow and additional blood vessels, and this allows for more efficient cooling. 

Try doing barbell squats for the next 12 months, by next summer the heat won't be an issue for you.
