i never finished watching season 5.  i started and it was shitty and i lost interest.  Seasons 1 and 2 are the peak

ah, been a while since i've seen 3.  i own Season 1 and 2, 4 and 5 on dvd.  i rented 3 and i didn't like it enough to purchase it.  I bought 4 and 5 because i found them at a pawn shop for 20 bucks together.

it seems pretty consistent across the three seasons I've seen, are the DVD's worth it if you think that?

Season 1-3 are about as far as I'd go with the full price dvd's.  3 was worth it, but towards the end of the season you can see the direction they're going in and it's terrible.  4 is a horrible season and from what I saw of 5, it was horrible as well.

But 1 and 2 are definitely worth it.

yeah I heard it started to fall apart in season 4.  season 3 seemed all right though.

well it got very repetitive and very predictable.  it got to the point where it wasn't believable anymore.  the appeal of the first 2 seasons was because it was gritty and realistic, but that all disappears in the later seasons.

There's not as much blood and rape but the characters are a lot smarter but they're still really fucked up.
