All of them are pretty lame with the exception of anything related to Metroid. Samus <3 Ridley <3

Another good Nintendo mascot would be Kid Icarus but he's so seldom used because Nintendo is fucking gay.

Link is alright. I like the guy, but even I admit he's a totally tired and forced enigma as of now. Plus, he has little to no personality and is a pretty fucking flat character. Zelda is also on my hit list. That bitch needs to stop getting kidnapped. Wind Waker and Ocarina are the ONLY times Zelda is in any way a good and interesting character. Ganon is a shit villian. Zant had potential to be an amazing villian and then those cunts at Nintendo turned him from a sinister villian with creepy teeth into a goddamn clown who's high on laughing gas.

Mario and Luigi were cool back when I was, I don't know, 8 years old. I only like the games because of the gameplay, but pretty much all Mario characters are lamers. Okay, there is one character in Mario I can't hate and that's Yoshi. Yoshi is just too damn cute.

Kirby is cool too.

What's wrong with that Link? It fits quite well with all the other Link's in the series. Was OoT your first Zelda or something? Link has always been a child with only a few exceptions, and that art fits quite well with how he's been represented in his art ever since the NES days.

I have to go with Waluigi. Unlike Wario, he wasn't created as the antagonist of a game or anything, he just like, started showing up in other games. He got elevated to the Mascot Level without having to earn his stripes. At least Baby Mario and Luigi managed to star in the best 2D Mario game before joining the canon.

At least the name Wario was imaginative becaue the W is an inverted M, so it made sense he was the opposite of Mario. But Waluigi is just bad character design. Calling him Juigi (a J looks more or less like an inverted L) would have been more aproppiate, but it sounds horrible.

Slippy was awesome on Super Nintendo when he actually sounded like a frog ribbiting. He's dead to me now though. I guess it doesn't even matter, I haven't played a Starfox sinc 64, I guess the series is dead to me now too.

I forgot to say in my last post, but in my opinion the worst Nintendo mascot is BOWSER JR.

on the Mario vs. Wario thing. Not only does it have the upside down shape, but in Japanese "maru" = circle = good, correct, and "warui" = "bad". So the "sound" goes from good to evil, too.

Waluigi is so bad that I don't even count him as a mascot. I mean, does he even have a personality? Or been in anything besides player 4 in Mario Tennis games?

So yeah, I see no drastic difference in the Link's. He's always had big eyes, and I see nothing wrong with him being a kid, as he's been a kid in a lot of the games. I found WW's Link to suit the series just fine. With the exception of adult Link in OoT, Link in Link's Awakening, and the Link in TP, he fits in quite nice.

Himuro, that last Zelda 3 pic is actually from Zelda 1. And you forgot Zelda 2 Link.

The difference between WW Link and the other Links is that WW Link is too super kawaii with a jagged carboardy looking face and body.
