I really like the music. Cant explain really, but I could loop some of this forever. I'm listening to it right now even.
The story is pretty boring. A world of politics. They use mercenary's piloting mechs to do their bidding. Theres a cool briefing to each level however, if you care.
Your radio link is via a stern but sexy voiced woman of course. She talks you through everything new.
Mechs in this game come in many shapes and sizes. Some are four legged walking tanks. Others look like jets and can move/fly around very fast.
You have dozens of different guns to peruse/buy. Every mech can boost around and shit. Dodging missiles is really cool.
Much like the guns, you can customize the mechs as well. Color everything different if you want. The decal system is really impressive. You mix and match preset images using layers to make a cool logo or whatever.
My current decal is an orange eagle flying down in front of an orange cloud with some crazy emblem behind it. Its pretty bitchin'
I also made one of a meteor crashing into a castle. Not sure why.
As for the game itself, its set into missions. Do the tutuorial to learn everything, then get into killing hordes of tanks, helicopters, turrets and other Mechs.
Sometimes you have to kill a specific enemy or escort something or take out certain turrets. It can be really fucking hard.
Online play is cool. Tried it and got my ass kicked in a hurry. Probably cause I don't have a super awesome mech yet from campaign. People online seemed nice though.
Almost forgot. The graphics are damn good. Better then Chromehounds maybe. But that game sucked. This is way better.
I give this game an 7.5/10. Rent it first if you want to get it.
