Wow, if you really believe this you really don't have a clue. If the league was rigged we would be seeing dominance by the Knicks and Lakers. Maybe throw in a few good years for Chicago or maybe even the Nets. One of the reasons the numbers have been going down is because the big media cities have sucked the past 5 years or so. I can guara-damn-tee that if there was an OZ behind the curtains pulling strings...we sure as hell wouldn't be seeing Spurs vs. Cavs!

My buddy in Ohio did lines with some OSU offensive linemen, I'll have to ask him what's up with Bron. When we were up there, he was coming into Mortons in Columbus (Cavs were playing an exhibition game) right as we were leaving. They asked if we wanted to see him and his posse but I thought we should just leave (we were done anyway). We should have stayed, could have been an interesting night

If the league was rigged the Celtics would have the number one pic in the draft, the Mavs would have beaten the Warriors, Kobe would be headed to NY, and the Cavs would be a shoe in for the championship. Threeo of those things didn't happen, and there's no way the Spurs are going to let Bron win.

I respect Bron, he's amazing. But the Spurs are a dynasty caliber team.

No. Everything is cool in my mind, because I think deep. If non threatening and foreign players were favored over our chocolate sons then the MAVS would have won the finals last year. Not mr. D. Wade, who had to have it handed to him on a tray made of something like 35 trips to the free throw line. Fucking pathetic.

The Spurs win because they play fundamental team basketball, instead of showboating for the highlight reel. It isn't surprising to anyone who understands the game that they would dominate so much.

Acutally, you are 100% correct on this. And for good reason the NBA is going away for the "thuggery." It's all about business. Once Stern started to embrace it, the numbers started to decline. There is a reason as big as it is, the NFL is trying to put a clamp on the same kind of image it's starting to get. Hopefully they took note of just how damaging the preception (and it is just that) the NBA has recieved, and where it's gotten them.

Stern has definitely tried to take the NBA globally. I think it's bit him in the arse, but one can't blame him for trying. With all the success International teams have had against USA in various tornaments in the past years, I think the NBA saw the opportunity to expand. However, I think a lot of the hype just had to do with the big bad USA going down more than it had to do with basketball. I'm sure the sport has gained some strides globally, but the NBA should have taken more care at home instead.

If you would take off that tin foil hat you have on and actually watched some games, you would know how ridiculous this statement is. I think San Antoine can be compared to those old guys at every local city YMCA. If you know anything about basketball you know what I'm talking about. Those group of late 30's to mid 40's guys that have been playing together for years. A group of high school/college ballers comes to play a game thinking, "These guys can't jump, run, or play any defense. No way we are losing to these guys!" But, before they know it...they've been back-doored, double-picked, and just plain out schooled their way off the court.
