When it comes to Transformers (nay, when it comes to EVERYTHING they loved as a child), GAF can't let go of their shitty nostalgia. I've never been a huge Transformers watcher, and I think this movie looks rad. The people who COMPLAIN about the designs of the robots are some of the saddest ingnoramuses I've ever encountered on the interweb. And I'm an Ntard!

It's shocking to see so many people complaining about this movie. I loved Transformers, when I was 6. To blindly expect the movie to be exactly like a TV show you loved as a kid twenty odd years ago is simply dilusional. This is not a motion picture interpetation of a literary work of art, it's a cartoon show. It's not Lord of the Rings. I understand people are upset about some changes, but the utter lack of reason in this thread is quite troubling.

That hd/blu-ray thread is a fucking mess. They predict blu-ray may take over dvd...THIS CHRISTMAS. And Blu-Ray wont turn out like laserdisk because laserdisk only failed because the boxes were too "bulky".

standalone dvd players sell about 1.2 MILLION a month. standalone blu-ray players are under 20k a month, easily.

Michael Bay was the guest director on the show on the lot (american idol but with directors doing short movies instead of singing and film people being the judges) but of every guest director who has judged the show so far he was the most knowledgeable director so far. All the other director's like brett ratner and garry marshall were like "lots of fun good job lol" Bay goes into great detail in critiquing their cinematography, editing, camera angles and other stuff when no one else even brings up any film terms!

Bay was impressive.
