that's bizzare. I heard about Comcast doing some stealth crap to make Torrent performance totally blow, but that could be fixed too. Did you guys discover any REASON? Or did it just not end up working out>

not working, Verizon layed the Smackdown...but Limewire is ok, I CAN use a torrent but it'll perform like piss. Shame too as torrents have all music at 320 kps

That's weird Verizon of all companies laid a smackdown...even weirder to think they did it for 'the industry'. They have always been the staunch defenders of user privacy and whatnot.

Well I use torrents on Verizon Avenues, but while VA is CHEAP, its capped at 1.5 so at most I can expect 180k downstream.

computer newbie 101 I had to learn about fucking static IPs, and I still don't know how to configure ports or that shit. BT was very patient ... I dunno dude like Juice said, they got the smackdown with verizon, or perhaps this specific router: Actiontec GT704WG.

I usually just download classical music that cant be easily boughten or tv shows for the most part. I dont think i'm bad for doing it.

Well turning it on may allow your torrents to work regardless of verizon blocking them, if you use utorrent its simply an option under the preferences:
